Our Great Gatsby themed wedding shoot lives on!  Apart from amassing well over 3000 views on YouTube, Your West Midlands Wedding magazine picked up on it for their December 2013/January 2014 issue.  They wanted to feature the 1920s themed wedding cake table picture, taken by my regular second shooter Sarah,  to illustrate an article on cake designs for 2014.  I, of course, said yes.  It would make  a really eye-catching centrepiece for a wedding reception so I’m not surprised they wanted to include it.

If you’d love something similar for your wedding day, here’s who you need to talk to:

  • Lisa from Cake by Lisa Price, who designed the table and made the beautiful wedding cake, cupcakes and cake pops, and liaised with Comme-ci Comme-ca who supplied the macarons.
  • Mel from Melanie’s Studio Designs who designed the cake table signs and the rest of the beautiful Art Deco inspired wedding stationery. Mel’s the West Midlands Regional Winner for best wedding stationery supplier in the 2014 Wedding Industry Awards.
  • Elena from Occasions Chair Covers who supplied the silver and glass centrepieces
  • Louise Harris from Warwickshire Wedding Planner who designed and co-ordinated the whole shoot.  Louise is another award winner – she’s the best independent wedding planner for the West Midlands in the 2014 Wedding Industry Awards.  I only work with the best ;-)

Thanks again to Ashorne Hill for allowing us to film at their lovely wedding venue and if you’re planning a 1920s theme for your wedding and want some inspiration, here’s my original blog post to give you some ideas.
