If you read my previous blogpost, you’ll know that I spent yesterday at the TARRS Fun Dog Show at Ryton Pools Country Park near Coventry.  My main job was to take pictures of all the dogs and if you were one of the entrants, you’ll find those pictures here – I’m giving 15% of my sales to TARRS so if you buy a photo, you’ll be helping Sophie and her lovely volunteers too.  They’re raising money for their own kennels  as they currently have to rely on fosterers to house the dogs and cats that are waiting to be rehomed, so it’s all in a good cause. I also took some pics to document the day so that Sophie can use them on her website.

Sara Coppin, an animal Reiki expert, was the judge.  Here she is judging the Best Veteran class:

All the winners (and 2nd, 3rd and 4th place) got a rosette and a goody bag so it was well worth the £1 entry fee.

The weather was mostly kind to us, but we did have one major downpour!

And here’s the very cute and cuddly overall winner:

Next year’s show will be even bigger and better so if you missed it this year, keep an eye on the TARRS website for 2012’s details.
