Having a lovely Easter holiday spending time with my nearest and dearest. Today we went to Charlecote Park to see the heronry, which was fascinating and also gave me chance to photograph the house from an angle we don’t normally get to see. The weather forecast said sunshine with intermittent heavy showers and they were right, but we managed to time it so that we were in the tearoom when the downpour hit. And in between visiting the heronry and the tearoom we got treated to a bunch of hares running across the field over the River Avon. What with that and the deer plus the red velvet mite that Z spotted on the path on the way back, we saw more wildlife than we did when we went to a nature reserve last week. Happy days :-)
