Win photography training for you and your parent – Families Warwickshire children’s photography competition

Boy with DSLR | Photography for children | Linda ScannellWould you like your child to learn how to take better photos?  Perhaps you’d like some photography tips yourself.  If so, you might like to know that in the autumn I’ll be running a new half day course aimed at children aged between 8 and 13 years and their parents, giving you tips and hints on how to get the most from your cameras.  To celebrate, I’m running a children’s photography competition in conjunction with Families Warwickshire magazine.  There will be two winners – one by public vote, and one judged by the panel of judges.

The prizes

Both winners will get a free place, worth £39, for themselves and their parent on my new course plus they’ll get their winning images featured in a future issue of Families Warwickshire magazine.

The challenge

Your challenge is to create a photograph of something familiar from an unusual angle to create an interesting image.

How to enter

Entries are open to any child aged 13 or under on 31st August 2013.  Entries must be emailed by the child’s parent or guardian who must be over 18 years of age.  Email  the photograph in JPEG format (maximum size 2000 pixels on the longest edge) to, specifying your child’s name and age.  Entries must be received by 11.59pm on 31st August 2013.
