A dash of April sunshine

It may have been the wettest April since records began, but we did get some sunshine.  Here are some pics of the beautiful cherry blossom in Hampton Magna, grabbed during a brief sunny spell on Monday evening.  I’m thinking the abstract one may make it as my new iPhone background pic. 2011 Advent calendar – Day 18 4am { fine art photography in Warwickshire }

2011 Advent calendar – Day 17 Sunburst { fine art photography in Warwickshire }

An extreme example of iPhone lens flare taken back in August.  I love the vivid colours it creates with a bit of tweaking in Lightroom.  If I remember rightly, the day had started off cloudy but we were blessed with a gorgeous, almost cloudless blue sky in the afternoon.
