I enjoy food photography – particularly when I get to eat the food afterwards![]()

Last December was much colder than this one has been – so far at least. I love the way the thick frost has grown on the berries.

As you can probably guess, my husband and kids get fed up of being in front of the camera, so when it comes to our family Christmas card photo, I have to come up with some creative ways of portraying them. This year it was easy as we’re all at various stages of learning the guitar – guess which one’s mine
. The more eagle-eyed among you will have spotted that one of them is not a guitar but a flying V ukulele – my youngest is hoping that Father Christmas will be replacing that with a pink 6 string guitar in the not too distant future.

Roses are my favourite flower so I had to include this one

I know a lot of you like to show off your photos online, so, if you’re a fan of mine on Facebook and you book a portrait session in 2010, I will include low resolution JPEG files of any of the images you purchase from me (e.g. as prints, canvasses, acrylics, or included in albums) so you can easily share them with your friends. They will have a small watermark on them, just like the example below, but I will grant you permission to use them on your personal Facebook page or any other of your own personal websites. And if you’re not already a fan on Facebook, here’s a link to my page so you can sign up if you wish.

Please note: Your low resolution image will look fine on screen, but it will give poor results if you try to print it at anything larger than 5 inches on the longest side.
