I’m just finalising next month’s Families Warwickshire cover photo with Claire the editor, which reminded me that I hadn’t shared the summer edition.  For the July/August edition, Claire wanted a cover that would get her readers thinking about outdoor summer activities for children so we settled on a tree-climbing theme – handy for me because tree-climbing often features in my family photo shoots so I had plenty to choose from. Thanks to Krissy and her boys for agreeing to make a star appearance.

If you’ve not read Families Warwickshire, it’s an excellent magazine for parents.  There are loads of ideas in this issue for summer holiday activities so if, like me, you’re struggling to find things to keep your children occupied, check it out.  Even if you live outside Warwickshire, there’s a great article on page 14 from Joanne Moorhead with ideas that you can do pretty much anywhere in the UK.   If you can’t find your paper copy, here’s a link to the electronic version: http://issuu.com/familiesonline/docs/families_warwickshire_issue_18_july
