I’ve just been asked about photographing a Warwick Register Office wedding, which reminded me I’d never blogged Lauren and Adam’s wedding from last September. So here it is. It was rainy but that didn’t stop it being a fun, relaxed day: the wedding ceremony had the most laughs ever – even the registrar laughed – and the wedding breakfast at The Stag at Offchurch was excellent. The newlyweds were even serenaded with the Hallelujah Chorus courtesy of the choir rehearsing in the Court House that afternoon – another wedding first! So it just goes to prove that it’s not essential to have a big fancy venue to have a fabulous wedding day.
I started the day with Lauren at the hairdressers at Indigo in Leamington Spa.
Then we headed back home to get all the bridal preparation shots.
Meanwhile, my second photographer, Sarah, met Adam and his family and friends for some pre-wedding photos at The Zetland Arms, just round the corner from Warwick Register Office’s ceremony room at Pageant House.
After the ceremony we had time for a few portraits in the garden behind Pageant House. Then it was time to head over to the Stag at Offchurch for the reception.
If you’re looking for wedding photography, you’ll find lots more information about how I create pictures like these on my wedding photography website.
