Warwickshire Open Studios 2022

Later in June, I’ll be back at the lovely Wren Hall as part of their Warwickshire Open Studios 2022 Summer Art Weeks event. I’m exhibiting my fine art photography and paintings again. We had a great time last year – lots of visitors every day and that was with COVID restrictions, so this year I’m hoping even more of you will pop in to say hello to me and my fellow artists.

Where is Wren Hall?

It’s really easy to find – just over 10 minutes’ drive from Warwick on the Birmingham Road (A4141) heading towards Knowle, or 15 minutes from Solihull/M45 if you’re heading from Birmingham way. If you put CV35 7NF into your SatNav, it should take you straight there. There’s a big Warwickshire Open Studios sign on the roadside, so you can’t miss it. And there’s lots of free parking.

Is there an entry fee?

No, it’s completely free. And you don’t need a ticket – just drop in.

Are you taking cash or card payments?

Both this year. I only took card payments last year because of COVID, but this year, if you prefer to pay using old-fashioned notes and coins, I won’t object.

What days and times is the exhibition open?

We’re open for three days and I’ll be at my stall every day this year:

• Thursday 23 June, 10am to 4pm
• Friday 24 June, 10am to 4pm
• Saturday 25 June, 10am to 4pm

Will there be cake?

Yes! Wren Hall has a reputation for great homemade cakes and having sampled most of them during last year’s event, I can confirm they are delicious. They will be running their pop-up cafe every day, so you’ll be able to sit indoors or out if the weather’s nice, with a cuppa and a slice of Victoria sponge, or whatever else takes your fancy.

What other artists are exhibiting there?

There are 13 of us altogether, covering painting, photography, scarf making, needle felting, ceramics, mirrors, jewellery, and glasswork. Can I have a copy of the Warwickshire Open Studios 2022 brochure?

It’s lovely that we’ve got the printed brochure again this year so if you want a copy let me know and I can post or deliver one to you. There will be some at the venue too.

Can I buy online if I can’t make it to the event?
