Winter fun and fashion in the woods { autumn lifestyle photoshoot }

If you’ve seen the Nov/Dec edition of Families Warwickshire magazine, you might recognise some of these photos.   Gabrielle, the magazine’s lovely editor, and I did the shoot with some wonderful kids and parents at the beginning of October as Gabrielle wanted to do a feature on the latest winter fashions for children.  The Little Clothes Horse in Kenilworth,  and Lockwoods and Two Seasons in Leamington Spa all let Gabrielle choose some of their new winter stock, and armed with drinks and snacks we set off for the woods.

When we originally booked the shoot we’d talked about planning for wind and rain, but we managed to pick the hottest October day on record, so our main problem was making sure that the models didn’t overheat dressed in hats, salopettes and warm jackets!  The lovely weather did give me some beautiful autumn sunshine to play with though.  Gabrielle did a great job of organising so I could concentrate on being creative.
