I love using my iPhone for recording video and live streaming but it is a phone, which means someone can phone you or text you while you’re recording. If that happens while you’re on Facebook Live, your viewers will see “Broadcast interrupted”. If it happens while you’re recording a normal video, it stops the video recording, which is really annoying when you’re in the middle of a great bit of video. But there is an easy way to stop it happening. And that’s what I cover in today’s Tuesday Tip. (And if you’ve got an Android phone, you should find similar settings in the Android menus.)
If you want to learn more about creating videos with your phone, check out my next “Video marketing with your phone” course.
Sometimes the simplest solutions are best! I use Periscope, and the phone ringing kills the broadcast (obviously). I also have a scheduled do not disturb and never even gave thought to turning it on when I go live!
Cheers
