Another rainy day in Warwickshire so no shoots today. Instead we did a family trip to Compton Verney to look at the Flight and Artistic Imagination exhibition, including a flypast from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight AVRO Lancaster on the way back from the Air Tattoo at Fairford. Having a dad who was ex-Fleet Air Arm and worked for a plane manufacturer and a husband who’s also well into planes, I’ve been to lots of airshows over the years and I’ve seen Lancaster bombers many times, but I think this is the first time I’ve had chance to photograph one flying right overhead.
